My opinion is at worst, they are a pain in the @ss for the sober driver. For the drunk driver, maybe they help save somebody’s life.

It bad areas where a lot of people drink and drive I support them. I’d rather not drink too much and then drive, just a habit of mine.

They are good. They improve public safety. Cities that do this thereby grant their residents more affordable car insurance.

I’m not a Liberal, but when in doubt, follow the constitution, in this case, the 4th and 5th Amendments.

I’ll check back in a while, I’d like to see the answers.

(The Huffington Post is probably Tweeting up a storm right now! LOL)

Do you somehow think only liberals are against drunk driving?

What is there to have an opinion over? Drunk driving is against the law. In the same way that police have been able to have roadside automobile inspections – they also inspect the fitness of the driver. No biggie.

I just did a News search – there are a LOT of sobriety checkpoints announced all over the country this weekend. Didn’t see any conflict over it.

I’m not a Lib or a Con but I am smart enough to not drink and drive so I don’t give a f*** about them. Now that I think about it, if I’m smart enough to not drink & drive then it must be why I’m smart enough to not join the Lib or Con gangs. Huh… good luck, lemmings.

Stop and Check to see if i maybe doing something ILLEGAL.. That is unconstitutional, even if another cop sees me hit the old cop standing by his cruiser…How can they tell if my blood alcohol level is over .08 until they legally stop me? That would target the law abiding citizens that just naturally swerve!

LOL
